Charming and beautiful rustic house overlooking the sea, with an immense mountain panorama, far from the world and in total isolation in the forest at Perinaldo. The land of 7,500 mq includes a rustico of 70 mq, which has an approved project, with detailed plans for a house of circa 230 mq of residential space, the project involves the restructuring of the old rustico with a new extension, and an infinity pool with outdoor kitchen. The project was particularly drawn up by a design studio in Piemonte, to create a light and airy modern house, making full use of the immense panorama.
The existing house of 55mq is in itself, artistic and quirky, beautifully crafted in antique stone with handmade terracotta floors, typical of Liguria, made with creativity and style, in complete harmony with its surroundings. It was totally rebuilt and reinforced in 2012, including new floors and roof. The house has a large surrounding paved terrace with a stone pizza oven and a fabulous view. Inside at ground floor level is the bathroom and bedroom with underfloor heating, upstairs the open plan living room in natural stone, with kitchen. There is a wood burning stove and internet from a satellite connection, outside of the kitchen is a large balcony for eating out.
The house is about 1.5 km from Perinaldo, the road is extremely narrow and turns into a rough track approaching the house but there is parking for several cars. The existing house is for artists and poets. The project is not for the faint hearted but can one day be a superb villa and pool with a guest (or staff) house in the grounds. Beautiful garden with box hedges, mimosa trees and peach blossom. Pure nature, with wild trees and eucalyptus.
Perinaldo itself has all facilities in the antique village, of great charm. There is a general food store, drug store, bars and restaurants. The coast is 20 minutes drive below. Perinaldo is in the Natural Park of the Maritime Alps, a wildlife park stretching for hundreds of kilometers. Nice Airport is a 1.30 hours drive. Below on the coast is beautiful Bordighera with its blue European flag for clean water.
