A very well maintained private unpaved road of 1 km leads through the woods to the house, there is ample parking on the property. The house is currently simply furnished; taking over the contents is negotiable. There are also two outbuildings on the property: the former pigsty with wood storage and wood oven, and a tavern with toilet. Furthermore, there is a hay barn to be renovated.

Due to its size and number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the farmhouse is very suitable as a family home and to receive guests, and is about 35 minutes from the Adriatic coast, with its beautiful beaches and bays. Highly recommended is Senigallia, a pretty seaside resort with flat sandy beaches. There is also the town of Sirolo, with spectacular views over the Adriatic Sea and its beautiful beach, part of the "Parco del Conero" nature reserve.

About 2.5 km away from the property there are two cosy villages with a bar, small supermarket and a pizzeria. In the valley (about 3 km away) there are many shops, bars, restaurants and larger supermarkets. The nearest large town is Jesi, with a beautiful historic centre with churches, museums, galleries and the opera. Nearest airport: Falconara (Ancona) just 40 km away.
