The provincial capital, Macerata, is a 40 min drive. In the winter you can ski at Sassotetto, 18km from the house and in the summer at 20 km is the Lake of Fiastra, an always loved spot to escape from the summer heat. Furthermore close and around the area are a lot of hiking trails.
