Casa Penrose is a charming, builders finish house and located within walking distance from Gualdo. It has been partly restored using traditional materials from the area. The particularity of the house is the white front with elegant arched windows, where a part has been added which gives the house it’s character.
While close to the town the house remains private as it is reached through a typical white country road -strada bianca.
The house is to be completed as it is a builder's finish, which gives you the possibility to finish the house to your requirement. It has three floors. The top floor has sufficient height to make it habitable. The first floor is separate from the other two and has the entrance at ground floor. The second floor is reached by an outdoor staircase and is connected to the third level. This makes it possible to divide the house into separate apartments.
On the grounds are also two small annexes. The garden itself spacious and flat and offers the possibility to build a pool.
The house is about 400 meters from Gualdo, a small Marchigiani town; and 8 km from the lively town of Sarnano. The province capital of Macerata is a 35 km drive. The beach is 45 km from the house and the mountains, with the stunning Sibillini National Park is about 30 km from the house.
