Desiree Grijpma

Desiree had a love for Italy from an early age. She sang along (phonetically) with Italian music and especially Eros Ramazotti. On holiday to various areas in Italy, she never really wanted to go back home. After 5 years of Italian language courses, she and her husband decided to take the plunge and found their dream home in Umbria through italiaCasa. There Desiree started renting out a luxury holiday apartment. In addition, she takes care of the property management of various second homes in Umbria.

Joining the ItaliaCasa team was a logical step given her practical experience in the Italian property market. Desiree was educated at Nijmegen University and has a degree in Business Communications. Her career has included positions in communication, sales and marketing at various large organizations. In 2009 she started a company in image consultancy, which she led for 10 years.
