Cortemilia, one of the main centers of the Langhe, has always been considered the "Hazelnut Capital," the nut for which it has gained great fame throughout the world. The core of the town consists of medieval houses full of arcades and the Bormida River divides the town into two districts.
The landscape around Cortemilia is characterized by the typical "terraces," a solution used by man in recent centuries to make the steep hills surrounding the town arable. These strips of land are leveled by reclaimed 'langa' stone walls, an important testimony to the ingenuity and wisdom of ancient societies.
Just above the promontory of Monteoliveto, an Ecomuseum for the preservation of traditional knowledge and biodiversity, home of the Slow Food Presidium "Dolcetto dei Terrazzamenti", we propose this beautiful detached house with more than 1 ha of land.
