Casa La Ada is located peacefully, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. To the south there is a view over the green hills towards the Mediterranean and to the north you look towards the Maritime Alps where you can hike and ski in the winter.
The 100 year old house is high and narrow and is spread over 3 floors. The house has been renovated only on the inside: walls and ceilings are plastered, pipework and electricity are new and floors have all been renewed. The antique tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were original all around the house, which was once the country retreat of a wealthy Bordighese family. In combination with the untreated new oak herringbone parquet and the olive green of the woodwork, the house has regained its authentic character. The kitchen is equipped with a modern stainless steel kitchen with 5 gas burners, a grill plate, oven and fridge-freezer. An external staircase leads to the top floor where the master bedroom and second bathroom are located, which has a modern toilet and walk-in shower. The second bedroom and bathroom are in the cantina.
In the yard of casa la Ada there is also a small ruin that can be restored as an extra guest house or barn. There is also a large water basin with natural spring water and the possibility to make a swimming pool. The site consists of terraces with original stone walls. The property is reached via an unpaved road. The house is now only used in summer, so the electricity generated by solar panels is sufficient. They are located on a mobile shed. The sewage system runs to a newly installed septic tank (IBA). Connection to the electricity grid is possible. The stove and geyser run on butane gas.
